3.01 An initiation fee of an amount approved by the Board of Directors, and set forth in the Schedule of Fees as amended from time to time, shall be paid upon initial application for membership in the following classifications: Adult (senior) Daytime Only Spouse Doubles Only Squash Full-Time Student Retainer Senior Citizen Out-of-Town Early Bird 3.02 An initiation fee of an amount approved by the Board of Directors, and set forth in the Schedule of Fees as approved from time to time, shall be paid upon an individual ceasing to qualify as Junior or Independent Junior. The initiation will be discounted at a rate of 20 % for each year that person has been a member. 3.03 The initiation fee is due and shall be paid upon acceptance of application for membership. 3.04 If a person who has paid the initiation fee does not renew his or her membership in one of the membership classifications specified upon rejoining the Club, after one year a further initiation fee shall be payable. The amount thereof shall be the full amount of the initiation fee then in force, or the total fee which would have been payable by a Retainer for the period in which the person's membership lapsed, whichever is less. 3.05 Initiation fees payable in respect of changes in membership classification shall be made in accordance with the Schedule of Fees and Payments. RULE 4- DUES 4.01 The payment of dues for all persons shall be made as specified in the Schedule of Fees and Payments, as amended from time to time by the Board of Directors.
4.02 In the event that a member in good standing in respect of a membership year does not make payment for the following year as provided in the Schedule of Fees and Payments hereof, that member shall forfeit his or her priority for membership and his or her name shall be added to the waiting list as of the date when application for membership is again received. 4.03 Retainer, Out-of-Town , Doubles Only Squash, Daytime Only, Early Bird and Fitness members shall have priority, in that order, to other applicants on a waiting list at the commencement of any membership year. If there is no waiting list, these members may change their membership status at any time during the year upon payment of an additional amount as set forth in the Schedule of Fees and Payments. |
